Position Description
Codeware is seeking a full-time
Software Developer to join our Austin-based Software Development
Team. Initially, the successful candidate will apply the latest
programming concepts and tools to our market-leading COMPRESS application
as well as assist with refactoring our established code base. This
is a junior-level position.

Position Responsibilities
- Applies the latest programming concepts and tools to the user interface (UI) and database aspects of our application using C++.
- Assists with refactoring
our large established code base.
- Performs application profiling to optimize performance.
- Assists with other projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
Skills/Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Familiar with common design patterns.
- Skilled at reading and comprehending established source code.
- Experience working with MFC, SQL and Subversion an asset.

Position Description
Codeware is seeking a full-time Technical Support Analyst to provide web-based, phone and email support to domestic and international Codeware clients. This position focuses on the installation and configuration of Codeware's Windows-based software.
Codeware provides a competitive salary and benefits package to all full-time employees.
Position Responsibilities
- Researches and resolves the most difficult and complex issues that Account Managers have been unable to resolve.
- Assists clients in the secured installation of Codeware's software.
- Logs the history and resolution of all client interactions in Codeware's ticketing system.
- Analyzes and identifies
trends in issue reporting and devises preventive solutions.
- Mentors other client service personnel on hardware and software problem analysis and resolution.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Codeware's software, related third-party hardware security key technology as well as external environments (Windows, Networks, etc.).
- Assists with pre-release software testing as required.
- Documents issues and provides feedback to the Software Development Team.
Position Requirements
Skills/Qualifications
- 1+ years help desk experience.
- Associate's degree in computer related field or equivalent work experience.
- Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- CompTIA Network+ or equivalent experience.
- Strong understanding of networked PCs in LAN WAN configurations including NAT, routing, domain environments, etc.
- Experience with Windows XP/VISTA/7, Windows Server 2003/2008.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
- Able to communicate instructions in a clear and concise manner.
- Comfortable multitasking.
