Generate and submit ASME U-forms to the National Board
COMPRESS automatically generates ASME U-1, U-1A, U-2, U-2A, U-3, U-4, A-1 and A-2 forms as well as NBIC R-1 forms (repair and alteration). Through the COMPRESS interface with the National Board's Electronic Data Transmission (EDT) facility, users can directly submit their completed forms to the National Board, saving both time and money.

As an additional benefit, COMPRESS-generated ASME and NBIC forms may be archived using the built-in forms database management tool. Both forms and necessary support files can be stored. A National Board Log could also be generated if required. This feature is included with all COMPRESS licenses at no additional charge.

Access HTRI® Xchanger Suite® files
HTRI® Xchanger Suite® users can access shell and tube heat exchanger (Xist) files directly from within COMPRESS. Required mechanical details not present in the HTRI® file are automatically provided as well as suggestions for optimal thicknesses for various exchanger components. This linkage allows for quick investigation of the effects of mechanical changes on exchanger performance. This interface is included with the COMPRESS heat exchanger option. Produce 3D solid models and CNC data output (third party software)
PVGen Pro, developed by StrucSoft Solutions, is an AutoCAD\ProSteel 3D based software system that automatically produces 3D solid models and CNC data output for pressure vessels modeled in COMPRESS. Generate custom reports and calculations (third party software)
Vessel Design Summary, developed by Image Custom Engineering Solutions, reads the COMPRESS XML file for selected vessels and displays a bill of materials, a design summary and a detailed vessel summary in an easy to read Excel® Spreadsheet. Visit image-ces.com to learn more.

Better understand the ASME Code and Interpretations (third party software)
RA-Search, developed by Reedy Engineering, is a tool to help users of the ASME Code understand Code changes, new technical provisions and Code Interpretations. It covers a variety of ASME Code Sections and the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC). RA-Search also contains commentary on all changes to all the listed Codes going back to 1952.
