COMPRESS Quality Assurance

Codeware is committed to supplying customers with quality software. This commitment is evidenced by our careful hiring practices, process-based software development and customer-centered culture. The following principles provide the foundation for achieving quality development at Codeware.

Extensive Pre-Release Testing
Codeware's quality management system requires that COMPRESS be extensively tested before being released. In addition to manual verification of COMPRESS calculations, Codeware's automated software testing system helps to ensure each COMPRESS Build is fit for service by performing both software functionality testing and calculation verification.

Addenda Update Delivery
Our deadline for the release of all COMPRESS Code Addenda updates is two weeks before the ASME Addenda becomes mandatory. Generally, this requires that COMPRESS be in compliance with the latest ASME Addenda within six months of Addenda publication.

Continuous Improvement
Our primary method for monitoring the overall performance of the software development process is through tracking the COMPRESS Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI). The Index shows the ratio of reported software errors per line of COMPRESS source code. The CSI must improve yearly or corrective action must be taken.
