COMPRESS Software System

Overview

COMPRESS has the sophistication needed to take on the most demanding ASME VIII project.  This makes COMPRESS the tool of choice for fabrication shops, engineering and construction companies and vessel owner / operators.

The standard functionality of COMPRESS includes everything you require to perform ASME VIII-1 (Section VIII, Division 1) pressure vessel calculations. This includes both the U.S. Customary and Metric Editions of Section II, Part D (materials) and a selection of Building Codes and related Engineering Standards, such as WRC-107. To further assist COMPRESS users, finite element analysis of nozzles capabilities are now included with new COMPRESS license purchases.

COMPRESS is Microsoft Windows® based and offers multi-user network support, allowing it to be deployed throughout your organization as needed. In order to tailor COMPRESS to your needs, we offer the following options:

For businesses which deal exclusively with heat exchangers, we offer COMPRESS Exchanger, a subset of the full COMPRESS System.

When you purchase COMPRESS, your first year’s subscription to our Support and Update Service (SUS) is included. All SUS subscribers receive ASME Code Addenda updates, new software developments and access to our Support Engineers. Our built in online update feature makes it both easy and convenient to keep your software up to date.
