It has always been Codeware's policy to allow users of COMPRESS to continue running their existing software even if they elect to let their Support and Update Service (SUS) expire. When deciding not to renew, it is important to note that CW6 files saved using expired versions of COMPRESS have certain restrictions. For instance, files saved using an expired COMPRESS cannot have their Addenda selection updated by using a later version of COMPRESS running on a different key. To update the Addenda in files created using expired COMPRESS software, you must first renew the expired SUS on the key where the CW6 file was originally created and re-save the file.
