Mechanical Engineer (Sarasota, FL)

Position Description

Codeware is seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our Growth Team in Sarasota, FL. This individual works closely with prospective clients to determine and demonstrate the applicability of our products.

Codeware provides a competitive salary and benefits package to all full-time employees. Travel is not required.

Position Responsibilities

  • Works with prospects to understand their needs and determine which software package is the best fit. This includes reviewing drawings and answering technical/engineering questions about the software’s capabilities.

  • Provides online technical software demonstrations to potential clients. This involves answering questions regarding the application of COMPRESS, INSPECT or Shopfloor programs.

  • Provides post-sales online training and new user orientation.

  • Other Engineering related projects.

Position Requirements

Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1+ year work experience in a technical field, preferably engineering or manufacturing.
  • Technical sales experience an asset.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor® or ABAQUS.

  • Multi-lingual an asset (Spanish, Korean, Italian).
