Sales Engineer (Sarasota, FL)

Position Description

Codeware is seeking a full-time Sales Engineer to join our New Business Development team in Sarasota, FL. This individual works closely with our Account Managers, Mechanical Engineers and Software Developers to help determine and demonstrate the applicability of our products for potential clients as well as manage the technical/engineering evaluation stage of the sales process.

Codeware provides a competitive salary and benefits package to all full-time employees. Travel is not required.

Position Responsibilities

  • Works with prospects to understand their needs and determine which software package is the best fit. This includes reviewing drawings and answering technical/engineering questions about the software’s capabilities.
  • Provides online technical software demonstrations to potential clients. This involves answering questions regarding the application of COMPRESS, INSPECT or Shopfloor programs.

  • Provides post-sales online training and new user orientation.

  • Other Engineering related projects.

Position Requirements

Skills/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 1+ year work experience in a technical field, preferably engineering or manufacturing.
  • Technical sales experience an asset.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk Inventor® or ABAQUS.
  • Multi-lingual an asset (Spanish, Korean, Italian).
