What This Privacy Policy Covers

This policy covers how Codeware treats personal information that Codeware collects and receives. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable, like your name, address, e-mail address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Codeware does not own or control or to people that Codeware does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and Use

Codeware may collect personal information when you register with Codeware or when you use Codeware products and services. When you register we may ask for information such as your name, e-mail address, address, occupation, industry and professional interests. Once you register with Codeware and sign in to our services you are not anonymous to us. Codeware automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address and the pages you request. Codeware may combine information about you that we have with information we obtain from business partners or other companies. Codeware uses information for the following general purposes: for internal marketing efforts, to fulfill your requests for products and services, to improve our services, to contact you and to conduct research.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

Codeware does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other individuals or nonaffiliated companies unless it is to provide products or services you've requested, you have given your permission, or one of the following circumstances applies:

  • We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Codeware under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help Codeware communicate with you about offers from Codeware and/or our marketing partners. These companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
  • We are required to respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process or we must establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims.
  • We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of Codeware’s terms of use or as otherwise required by law.
  • We transfer information about you if Codeware is acquired by or merged with another company.

Records of participation in and credit awarded for attending Codeware's training seminars is considered confidential. Records are maintained on Codeware's secure network for a minimum of seven (7) years and may not be released to a third party without the individual's direct written consent.
